SPACE 2026, the world's leading livestock trade show, will be held from September 15 to 17 at the Rennes Exhibition Center. A true hub for innovation and genetics, this trade show brings together professionals from all animal sectors (cattle, pigs, poultry, sheep, and goats) each year to discuss sustainability and animal welfare. With demonstrations of cutting-edge equipment, elite animal presentations, and the showcasing of the latest technological advancements through the Innov'Space label.

🗓️ Daily Schedule The show is open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (closing at 6:00 PM on Thursday). Tuesday, September 15: Innovation in the Spotlight Morning: Official opening ceremony by the authorities and presentation of the Innov'Space trophies (recognizing the best innovations of the year). Central Ring: Start of the livestock competitions (often featuring beef and sheep breeds). Space for Tomorrow: Launch of the conference series on "Agricultural Intelligence" and decarbonization. Wednesday, September 16: The Genetics Summit Afternoon: The prestigious "Genomic Elite" auction, unique in the world, where animals with very high genetic potential are sold. Central Ring: Major dairy breed competitions (Holstein, Normande, etc.). Conferences: The busiest day with over 50 technical seminars on animal health and nutrition. Thursday, September 17: Future Prospects and Youth Morning: Focus on the attractiveness of livestock farming and young farmers' entry into the industry with the Young Farmers Forum. Central Ring: Finals of the competitions and multi-breed presentations. Space for Tomorrow: Summary of solutions for livestock farming in 2040. 🏗️ The 3 Pillars of the 2026 Agenda 1. The Ring (Animal Presentations) This is the show's continuous spectacle. For 3 days, over 500 cattle of 13 breeds and 120 sheep are presented. Here you will discover the excellence of French and international breeding programs. 2. The Space for Tomorrow (Hall 3) This is the space for future prospects. For 2026, the theme continues to explore Agricultural Intelligence (AI): Practical workshops: How to use data to anticipate climate risks. Demonstrations: Monitoring robots and connected sensors in real-world situations. Roundtables: Discussions on cybersecurity and data ownership in livestock farming. 3. The Conference Program With over 100 conferences in total, the agenda covers: Health and Well-being: Disease prevention and biosecurity. Energy: Methanization, photovoltaics, and energy self-sufficiency for farms. Aquaculture: A dedicated space and conferences for this rapidly growing sector.
